Peanut harvest is upon us, and that means it is almost time for the National Peanut Festival (NPF) Recipe Contest. The 2025 contest will be held on Thursday, Oct. 24 in the NPF Volunteer Building. Contestants can drop off their entries between 8:00 – 10:00 am.
Judging begins at 10 am, and the awards ceremony will take place at 1 pm in the NPF Bank Plus Arena.
Winners will receive ribbons and cash prizes. The Grand Prize Adult winner will receive $150 and a KitchenAid mixer. The Grand Prize Student winner will receive $125 and a KitchenAid mixer. The mixers are provided by the Alabama Peanut Producers Association.
